This app takes the time and effort out of being informed on current legislation. If you like politics at all, or want to be more civically aware this is totally the app for you!

I have been using this app and I do get the flood of form letters from my representatives. Basically telling me they dont care. More then that is the left and I do mean heavy left slant on stories. The way bills are explained to commentary articles mostly bash GOP and conservatives.

I love the app overall, but my biggest gripe is the style in which the push notifications are written. Did your writer have a previous stint at Buzzfeed? I get breaking news alerts from other news sources and Im not tempted to click your push notification when it comes in five hours after the breaking news and its phrased as a cryptic clickbait question. Either write it in a professional, informative, timely manner or not at all.

This app is legit. You will receive emails from your local reps. For those like me who dont have the time to email your reps about all the issues you care about, countable makes it super easy. When you give your opinion on an issue they actually email your rep for you and let them know exactly how you feel. I have gotten quite a few emails from my local rep.

This is an app for me. I love being politically in tune with current events and feel being aware of issues going through legislatures is a civic responsibility. This app has the potential to connect far more individuals to current events in legislation and politics. It also gives an image of candidates for office based on their opinions on the issues at hand. It could be better though. Many of the issues are duplicates. I know its probably based on different laws or amendments coming down but it gets a little tedious when you see the same issue reworded in a new question. The second way it could improve is providing an area where you can search for not only presidential candidates but federal and state legislature candidates and an easy to understand breakdown of their viewpoints and platforms. No matter what this is an excellent start.

When theres a law Im opposed to, or a political action I think should be taken, Im guilty of talking about it to friends and online, but being unsure of where to go from there. Ive sent an email to my representative and received a generic "thanks for contacting me" response, but thats about it. This app is basically like Facebook, but for bills in congress. If you click on a question, the app provides a brief explanation about the bill being presented, and a summary of the arguments for and against. The app also provides a more in depth description of the bill, who is for and against it, links to more articles about the bill, as well as pertinent current events. As if that werent all cool enough, you can also "vote" on the issue (and provide your reasoning, if you like) and that vote is sent to your representatives. You can even send a video message! If youre at all interested in politics or knowing more about American government, I cant recommend this app highly enough! Its so clearly written and (so far from my reading) pretty unbiased. If you have a child in middle school or high school, Id even recommend it for them!

This is a pretty good app. Its like your influencing your boy on the hill. Could use landscape mode. Voting yay or nay just like a congress member is very nice. Good job.

What a great way to approach educating and informing the masses. Use this to help yourself become more in tune with whats happening in our Govt and to be able to give feedback to our representatives!

I love this app. Ive wanted something like this for years- something where you can see an unbiased view of both sides and make up your own mind instead of voting along party lines. I havent used the video message feature, but I have left notes for lawmakers and have heard back from them. I think many Americans feel the political system is increasingly above our heads and there is little we can do to rein it in. This app is a critical piece of putting power back in the hands of the people.

Countable makes new feel up to date on the latest legislation news. I also like the public profiles that they make to keep me up to date with all these candidates. The search feature makes it easy to find things and now I can send video messages to my representatives.

Really love this app! It facilitates such meaningful engagement with the political process and really helps inform our legislative discourse. Has seamless UX/UI and wonderful bill summaries too. Cant wait for more features to be rolled out!

THE BEST UPDATE YET! Frigging beautiful. What a brilliant idea, take whats happening in congress and treat each bill as a news story with super easy to read content. It sends me notifications when votes are upcoming, and when votes pass through congress. Purely awesome.

With politics at the forefront we need an app like this. Now its so much easier to be an informed citizen.

Ive been using Countable for a while and Im very impressed with this update. The new bill page is very sleek and makes it easier to learn about the bills Congress is considering. Cant wait to see how they build on this in the future!

Countable is the easiest and best way to understand whats going on in Congress. Ive learned more about what my reps are up to from this app than any civics class ever taught me.

This app gets better and better. The new cleaner design makes it even easier to use. Love discovering new issues that I find out I actually get passionate about, after Countable exposes me to them. Being given so many easy ways to weigh in with lawmakers is exactly what I want to see from tech in politics.

The app explains each bill in plain english and gives both sides of the isse! Non-biased and easy to share my voice and stay informed! Awesome Job!

Think its a good idea for an app but since I tried logging on 3 times with 3 different emails, 1 star until its resolved.

I like this app and want to make an account, but I cant. It says both of my emails already have account attached to them, but when I do "Forgot my password" for them it says the account doesnt exist. It wont let me connect through Facebook either. Its a cool idea, Im just frustrated with this aspect of it.

Love this app! Only complaint is that on the new version, it lets you see how many people have voted which way on the issue. I think it should be gotten rid of because people will feel pressured to vote with the majority if they dont have a fully formed opinion. Otherwise, a must have for anybody whos registered to vote
